I believe counselling can be a powerful space for growth and transformation. When individuals and couples are able to approach their struggles with openness and vulnerability, meaningful change becomes possible. I have experience counselling individuals working through relationship difficulties, family of origin issues and pornography addiction, in addition to helping clients identify signature themes, reduce unhelpful patterns, identify inner strengths, increase communication, understanding and intimacy. Additionally, I provide therapy for individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol experimentation and addiction, family discord, as well as behavioural issues related to ADHD and OCD, not to mention years of experience as a Community Counsellor to the Fraser Valley Aboriginal Child and Family Services Society (Xyolhemeylh). In this role I am responsible for providing face-to-face clinical counselling services to Sto:lo families and individuals. I provide a non-judgmental, collaborative, and grounded therapeutic environment where clients can explore any aspect of their experience. No topic is off limits. My goal is to support you in processing the challenges within your relationships—including your relationship with yourself—so you can move toward greater clarity, freedom, and well-being. Summary of Qualifications: * Master of Arts, Marriage and Family Therapy from Trinity Western University. * Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. Training: * Dialectical Behavior Therapy * Level I intensive with the Neufeld Institute * Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety * Level I EFFT * Level I Satir Family Therapy * San’yas Indigenous Cultural Safety * Traumatology * Level I with the Neufeld Institute * IFS, Client-centered, and Attachment lens approach
