Jocelyn Danielsen - MAMFT, RCC, CACFT
Children & youth, Adults, Couples and Families
Service Description
Jocelyn is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trinity Western University. Since 2009, she has supported individuals with neurological diversities and mental health challenges, as well as working closely with their families. She believes that meaningful change begins within a safe and trusting relationship. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that people are inherently resilient, even in the face of difficult life experiences. Jocelyn works alongside clients to explore what may no longer be serving them, while supporting new ways of understanding themselves and their stories. Her work is guided by a systemic and trauma-informed framework, recognizing the importance of understanding each person within the context of their relationships and lived experiences. She integrates a range of evidence-based modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic approaches. Jocelyn works with individuals, couples, and families, and has a special interest in supporting those experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. She is committed to creating a respectful, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and move toward meaningful change.
