Service Description
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I’m someone who believes deeply in the power of empathy, connection, and presence. Having walked through my own experiences of relational pain, I carry a deep compassion for those who are hurting. These experiences have shaped the way I show up in therapy with empathy, non-judgment, and a strong belief that healing and growth are possible, even in the hardest of places. Whether you’re untangling old patterns, exploring who you are becoming, or simply longing for a place to be heard, I would love to partner with you in that process. My work is grounded in a person-centered and trauma-informed perspective. This means I focus on creating a space where you feel safe, valued, and understood. I believe the therapist’s way of being encompassing empathy, curiosity, without judgment is as important as the interventions we use. I am trained in attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy, EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. I believe collaboration is central: therapy is not something I do to you, but something we engage in together and is a large part of tailoring the work to your story and goals. I help clients understand how childhood attachment experiences shape present-day relationships and connections. People often describe my style as calm, compassionate, and encouraging. I aim to make space for both the hard emotions and the hope that follows. Together, we can face the weight of what’s being carried, while also moving toward healing, growth, and deeper connection. Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning after other experiences, you don’t have to go through this alone. If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to connect for a free consultation to see if we’re the right fit. Areas of interest include helping clients understand how childhood attachment experiences shape present-day relationships and patterns of connection, as well as supporting individuals through life transitions, grief and loss, and the exploration of spirituality alongside existential struggles.
