With offices located in Mission and Abbotsford BC, Thrive Therapeutic Counselling was started by Melissa and David McVety in 2018. They have shared in ministry for 15+ years and have served as marriage and family educators, speakers, writers, and coaches since 2012. Married since 2001 with four children and three grandchildren, the McVetys help bring encouragement, hope, and healing to those they serve and counsel.
Thrive Therapeutic Counselling offers Child and Youth, Individuals, Couples and Family therapy. In addition, David and Melissa also specialize in co-therapy with couples who want to work on their relationship struggles such as infidelity and/or sex addiction or brush up on their communication, conflict management, and closeness. They also offer pre-marital counselling to those seeking to explore and address any concerns in preparation for marriage.
Thrive has expanded to include 3 additional therapists and 2 graduate students who are in training and overseen by Melissa for their professional development.
